Thomas Giles,
a fourth generation Californian, expressed his deep appreciation of the western outdoors, its native creatures and people by recording his visions and memories on paper and canvas. His painstaking layered watercolor technique produced remarkable visual depth.

Many of Tom's paintings depict the native and anadramous fishes of the west. He was a fisherman and outdoorsman all his life and knew well that the condition of our waters and the creatures living in them are an accessible barometer to the health of our overall environment.

Presented here are reproduced works as well as several available originals. Other originals are available by request. Hopefully, his art shows not only the talent of Thomas Giles, but his versatility as well.
